In honor of Mr. Joe Dove, Jefferson and El Paso High School's jazz bands will be joining forces, alongside the Jefferson Alumni Jazz Band, to honor him in a tribute concert. Mr. Dove taught in EPISD for 35 years, spending 30 of those years right here at Jefferson High School. This tribute concert will take place on February 23, 2017, at El Paso High School in the main gym.



TEA has announced the 26 Texas schools nominated for 2017 National Blue Ribbon honors, Silva Health Magnet is one of the three campuses in the city with this honor. Congratulations for this outstanding honor. We will work on setting up a committee to begin the application process. The campus was selected as a high performing school measured by the state assessments. The announcement of the national award winners will be made in September of 2107.
