Hello and Welcome!
My name is Denise Galvez and I am a Registered Nurse teaching what I love! I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I teach 11th and 12th graders and they always teach me a thing or two! I currently teach our CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant Course), Practicum II (Senior Preceptor Course), and Practicum I (Junior Nursing Rotations).
As a health care provider I believe anyone in this field must possess a servant's heart. Getting paid is just an added bonus. With this philosophy of helping others, I am one of the co-sponsors of our newest club on campus. Club 365 is based on the premise that one should never go one day without helping someone (365 days a year!). I encourage you to have your kids volunteer with us! We are always out in the community so if your organization is in need of volunteers, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please click on my Club 365 link to learn about upcoming opportunities!
My conference period is from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Red Days.
